My Beautiful Island- Fuvahmulah

Fuvahmulah being the only one island Atoll in Maldives possess its own natural beauty. The uniqueness of the island and surreal beauty sets the island apart from other islands. It is located on the Equator between two South Atolls, Addu and Huvadhoo.

It is the only island of the Maldives archipelago with fresh water lakes and lush tropical vegetation. The treasure of the island is the unique white pebble beach, which is included in the list of ten unique beaches of the world. Due to its location, the island has not been available for tourism until recently.

The freshwater lakes (perfect for boating or fishing), as well as the abundant white sand beaches are the primary attractions on the island of Fuvahmulah.

Like any tropical island, swimming, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and generally exploring the dense, tropical vegetation are the most popular activities on Fuvahmulah.

There are a number of options for visitors to stay in Fuvahmulah, ranging from extravagant five star resorts, to more affordable hotels. Additionally, some house and self-contained apartment rentals can be found on the island.
